ADMISSION INFORMATION

In HOLY CHILD SCHOOL RANAGHAT Pupils are ordinarily admitted only at the beginning of the academic year. No admission is made until the pupil has passed a test for the respective class. A candidate who has attended a recognized school and seeks admissions cannot be admitted without a Transfer Certificate from the school last attendance.

(Pre-Primary/ Primary Section)

Admission Forms and details for K.G. (Nursery, K.G. I and K.G.II) and Primary Section are made available in the month of October. For Primary and K.G., Birth Certificate should be produced at the time of interview and must submit T.C. at the time of admission. A pupil failing twice in the same class has to discontinue her studies in the school. At the time of admission, a valid address proof should be produced. Any change of address should be immediately reported to the school and the fresh address proof is to be produced. Admission is granted only on submitting concurrently with the Application Form a Transfer Certificate from the school last attended. Admission will be subject to test of capacity by means of a written test. Admission and assignment to a particular section of the class are entirely reserved to the school authorities. Correct date of birth is to be given at the time of admission test. Date of birth once registered cannot be altered.

• Eligibility for Nursery admission is for children aged 3 years as of December 31st of the current year. Registration takes place in October, and candidates, along with their parents, will be called for an interaction on scheduled dates, which will be communicated in due course.

• At the time of registration, the completed and signed application form must be submitted a Birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation. The Date of Birth provided during registration cannot be changed.

• Admission to higher classes is granted based on a selection process, and the school reserves the right to assign students to specific classes or sections. Selected candidates must submit a valid Transfer Certificate (TC) and a PEN number.

Withdrawal

The intended withdrawal of a pupil should be made known to the principal in writing one month in advance or one month’s fees will be charged. No allowance will be made for broken periods of absence.
